52 Fridays | Week 20

So excited to make it to week 20 of the 52 week project. This is my second year on this project and I have not missed a single week. I will admit, I thought about it this week. Our prompt is Slow Shutter/Long Exposure. ”Panning” (slow shutter speed following movement) is something that I have wanted to master for several months now. I knew this was a good week to work on it. It was much harder than I thought it would be. This is not what I envisioned, but definitely a slow shutter speed. We have a small group of seven in our circle this week. Please take the time to go next to see what my friend liza hall has to show us for this week. I know it will be great

52 Fridays | Week 19

Hi!! This week I am playing along with 12 other photographers. It’s a 52 week project where we have 52 different themes and each week we focus on one of those different themes to stretch our creativity and keep us actively engaging our love for photography! Every week under my post will be a link to another photographer, and she will link to another photographer, and it’ll keep going until it brings you full circle back here! This week our theme was vintage. Cole has been obsessed with this vintage Coke bottle all week. We gave them out at school on Monday as part of a teacher appreciation gift. It seemed like a great idea to get a photo of him with his treasured bottle. Let’s just say there was a series of catastrophes with our shoot tonight. This is it. Vintage. 52 Fridays | Week 18

Welcome to week 18 of 52 Fridays! The theme this week was my most dreaded of the year. I *almost* forgot to sign up this week (on purpose). I really dread self portraits. After a few mistrials, I got Robin (one of our group members and a dear friend) to take this of Cole and I. Thanks to this project I have a nice picture of the two of us. I can’t wait to see what everyone else has for their self portraits. Please continue around the blog circle. There are 12 of us participating this week. 52 Fridays | Week 17

Our theme this week should have been easy for me, but somehow I over thought it. We traveled to Orlando this week. I obsessed over getting the perfect “Circle” shot there for this week, but didn’t quite get what I wanted. Lots and lots of circles in Orlando, but not that perfect shot. I did love that while we were in Florida- they both added lots of circles to their faces! I love freckles. Head over next to see what Tammy Bilodeau, Whitecourt, AB Photographer shows us for circles!

52 Fridays | week 15

I’m excited to be at week 15 of this second year of 52 Fridays. I am thankful for this great list of prompts this year. I often start the week dreading the prompt and then end up thrilled with a picture that I wouldn’t normally have taken. This week was “blue”. His favorite blue things are his bike and his brand new blue sweatshirt. We shopped together over spring break and he picked it out.
Be sure to continue the circle. I can’t wait to see what my great friend Robin Moore in Cary, NC Photographer has to show us for blue!
