Lots to catch up on, but I had to post our snow update.  We had lots and lots of snow starting on Christmas night.  I have more photos to edit, but will start with this.  This was a record snow for Raleigh on Christmas and so exciting for us.  The kids were sick, but grateful for a white Christmas!  I will post our holiday photos over the next few days.

Today I am grateful for family traditions.  The Elmer the Elf tradition has been passed down from my husband’s family.  He delivers donuts to the kids every year on Christmas Eve morning.  The kids were so excited to see them this morning.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas!

Lily Update!  Several people have asked about her lately so I thought it was time for an update.  We were at a stand off during this photo, can you tell?  She was after an ornament on the tree that was given to use by Emily (thanks Emily).  I was determined that she would not win this time and get the ornament off the tree.  This continued for quite a while.  Just so you know, the ornament ended up on the mantel.  I guess she won, it’s no longer on the tree.  She seems to know that this special ornament was in the same package as treats for her.  She’s 54 pounds now and almost 9 months.  She loves to run with her Dad and is full of energy!  Her newest habit is getting on the table.  I see lots of stand offs in the near future.  We are grateful that we have added her to our family this year.  Lord knows we didn’t have enough going on :)

The cards are finally mailed!  ..well the first set anyways.  I still have a few stragglers that I need addresses for, but most of them are on their way.  I hate the stress of those hanging over my head and I am so grateful they are done!

I have been mia for a few weeks.  Busy with my holiday business.  I have taken the photos each day- just not had time to post.  I hope to get caught up this week!
