Happy April Fools Day!  I have made it this far in the journey and am not giving up just because I stumbled on the theme this week.  This was tough.  I know I said that last week, but this took the cake.  Our theme this week was “Fooled Ya”: Create an image that may look like one thing but in reality is another.  I think that all of us in our group were stumped by this week, so I can’t wait to see what everyone came up with.

I spent last week-end in Wilmington.  This area was right next to our hotel.  The first photo is a key.  Kinda boring, huh?  Well, it’s actually a fence that was covered in keys and was a piece of artwork. That’s it!  That’s the best I could come up with :)  Now please continue the journey and head on over to see how Julie Livermore from Southern, WY fooled ya!

I am so excited to have made it to week 10 of this project.  Without a doubt, this week was my biggest challenge.  Our theme this week was Out of Focus.  I have spent the last year of my life working on getting good sharp pictures.  I have read books, taken classes, purchased great equipment all for better focus. I felt like I was taking 20 steps backwards while working on this week.  However, it was good for creativity.  After about 300 pictures I finally came up with something that I was happy with.  My photo is featured this week on The Bloom Forum Blog.  Be sure to check it out here. Please be sure to keep making your way through our circle and head over to see what Lynn, Bugsmom from NJ captured out of focus.

Our theme this week was the color GREEN.  Get outside and discover the green!!  I worked with the usual green kids, shamrocks, etc first and wasn’t happy with any of those attempts so I ended up with this image. Nothing says spring to me like daffodils.  They are the first to bloom and one of the most gorgeous.  We are lucky to be experiencing a touch of warm weather this week.  Be sure to follow the blog circle and make your way through the other photographers.  Hope everyone had a great St. Patricks Day!

Now head over to visit Susie Gaal, SPG Photography in St. Louis, MO.

By the time you read this, I will be on a plane heading to Philadelphia for the Joyce Smith Photography workshop.  I am beside myself with excitement!  I am posting a photo that you may have seen  before.  It’s one of my all time favorites, so I am using it this week.  Our theme this week is mostly dark: Use the light to highlight a small part of the frame.  Please take the time to follow through the blog circle.  You can read about how it works here. Hope everyone has a great week-end!

Now head on over to see Lorrin Sell, western PA photographer.

Made it to week seven without missing a week- this is a great accomplishment for me!  I am loving this blog project.  Please remember to follow through the blog circle by using the link just below my photo.  That will take you to the next person in the circle!

This week our theme was light.  Use the sun to your advantage and paint an image of light!  So far, I am using new photos each week for the project.  I couldn’t resist the butterfly bushes blooming in my yard this week.

Be sure to head over to Leah Kelso @ BirthExpress to check out her project!
