Our theme this week was Memorial Day.  I knew all week what I wanted to get for a picture.  Spent a fun night out with a friend trying to get that vision that I had in my head!  Remember to follow along the blog circle.  Check out what Nancy Schumacher Thompson from ND thinks of for Memorial Day!

are some of the best!  I met the Turco Family about ten years ago just after we moved to North Carolina from Georgia.  We have watched each others children grow and shared lots of memories over the years.  Last night, we used the Turco Family as models for our CM meet up.  We were able to  capture some great moments of the family together.  I hope they will enjoy these for years to come!

Have you ever seen a photo cuter than this?  Audrey was a natural for hanging upside down :)

The making of a perfect bubble…

and one of my favorites.  Thank you Turco family!

Our theme for this week is Protection.  Who is your protector, Where do you feel safest, What makes you feel safe?

I thought about this all week.  There were the obvious and the not so obvious answers.  There were lots of answers.  I kept coming back to my parents though.  They have always made me feel safe.  When I am sick, I still want my Mom.  When I need advice, my Dad is still a great wealth of knowledge.  When I need to talk, they are always there.  I am so fortunate to have such wonderful parents who still make me feel safe after all these years :)

Now head over to see what makes Ginger Unzueta in Camp Lejeune, NC feel safe!

Yikes!  I didn’t realize until I loaded the photo how much pattern was going on in this photo and then added a pattern frame.

Whoo hoo!  Made it to week 17 of the Fifty-Two Fridays project.  So far, I haven’t missed a week :)  Just in case you haven’t been following along,  you can find out more about our blog circle in week 1 of the project that describes it in detail!

This week our theme was flowers.  Flowers are one of my favorite things to photograph.  My favorite time of year is the early spring when all the trees are budding.  This is long gone here in North Carolina, but this was one of my favorites from the Spring.

Now head over to Nancy Schumacher Thompson in  ND and see what her favorite flower is!

I had the great pleasure of helping out on a photo shoot with one of my CM friends.  These little girls were absolute dolls and so much fun to work with!  We had a tea party, cupcake smash and great fun running around the yard.  Here are a few of my favorites!
