We are on vacation this week at Hilton Head Island, but I was determined to not miss a week. I am so excited that I have completed all 23 weeks of our 52 challenge. The theme this week is Growth: Have you grown in talent, faith, family? Since we are together with all of the cousins right now, it seemed appropriate to focus on our new family member. 8 weeks ago our family grew by 2 feet. We were excited to have Mathew join us on our annual beach week this year. Here are all 5 of the Ames Cousins.

Our theme this week is Fatherly Love. I knew exactly what I wanted to use for this week! Last Saturday I had the great pleasure of second shooting with two fabulous photographers in town. I first “met” Tara Parker of Tara Parker photography on CM about a year ago. I instantly fell in love with her style and personality. Working with them was a great experience for me. One of the things that I was responsible for shooting was the bride and her father as they prepared to walk down the isle. I had so much fun watching this adorable Dad with his excitement for this special day. He was so proud and happy to be walking her down the isle. I had several shots that showed their love and excitement, but this was my favorite.

This week our theme was Desire: What do you desire, Is it tangible? Is it a goal? I have no trouble coming up with ideas for this today! I desire Peace in my life. I can’t think of a better photo than this to express Peace. I am always hoping for world Peace. I am also hoping for Peace in my family and all of my life. I do think that Peace is tangible and will happen- we just have to work hard at it!
