Ten on 10 | August
Posted on August 9, 2011
I am so excited to tell you about a project I am participating in with some other photographers that I met in a workshop this year. On the 10th of each month, all of us will blog 10 pictures taken over the course of the day . After you view my photos I hope you will follow the circle and enjoy checking out the other blogs.
The project is called Ten on 10, sharing ten images from one day, morning till night, on the 10th of each month. Just for fun.
I have to admit, this isn’t an average day in the Ames Family. I choose a day that we spent on our last vacation of the summer. We had a great mix of family and friends around that day, including one of our other Ten on 10 members!
Be sure to continue the fun and check out what Jenn Duguay (aka the best darn canuck you will ever be lucky to know) http://www.jennduguayphotography.com/ has for her ten on 10.

Love the butterfly net photo, the tutus, the one with the boys waiting patiently for the cook – I want to join the Ames family on vacation next time! Such fun!
well well well, the wait is over! personally, my favorite is the creatively oof shot of the canoe in the pond….what inspiration the photographer must have had to take such a beautiful shot! those 3 kids on the steps are super cute too!
this set is great, i love all the bits and pieces….pancakes, cards, canoes, ponds, ocean, nets….they are all the things maine is made of! love them all!
Of course the out of focus is your favorite! Funny you should mention that. I wondered if I should post a “Before LIza’s BBF lesson” and “After” picture! The comparison was great! However, I think that photo looks like a work of art and even though you couldn’t focus, I LOVE IT
This makes me homesick for maine and wishing I had another week so I could have made a special visit, too!
GORGEOUS. Just what summer is made of, you captured it and made it a permanent beautiful thing, like the stitches of a quilt.
Beautiful Amy. My favorite is the second from the top…the beginning of the hike into the woods. I love the moments you choose to feature. What a beautiful place to spend a summer vacation.
Great shots Amy..one of these summers our trips will coincide!! Love, Jen
What an action-packed day you had! Looks like so much fun. The scenery is so serene. A beautiful place for a vacation! Love your processing and every. single. shot
