Our theme for this week is warm. He loves this hat- says it keeps him warm! It’s too small and doesn’t match anything, but it’s WARM!
This week we you can travel just a few miles and to Cary, NC and see what Kimberlee Edwards has for Warm!

Welcome to week 3 of the 2012 version of 52 Fridays. I am extremely excited to be sharing this journey with 21 other photographers this week. Our theme is WORDS. The first thing that popped into my head was “Words with Friends”, my addiction. Lame, I know! I spent some time today trying to get a good, creative shot of the app on my phone. After getting frustrated with the lack of creativity, I remembered this this year I am focusing on my kids. I am thrilled that my 11 year old has been reading like crazy the past few weeks. We have struggled to get him to read age appropriate material. When he decided to tackle all of the Harry Potter books we were excited. Many times this week I found him up early sitting in his reading chair before the sun rose. He read on the way to school and he read lots at night. This is huge for Ethan. I am so glad that I realized I needed to document him reading these words. Please continue on the circle and travel across the ocean to see what Robyn Regan, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia has to show us for words.

I was crazy excited for our theme this week, landscape, until I realized how hard it is to be creative with this. Another goal of mine for this year is to work on landscape photos. This week I traveled to Miami for a long week-end cruise. I shot this as we were leaving the port on Friday. What a gorgeous sight it was with South Beach and the city in the background.
Please travel with me to Canada and check out what Faye Kingston, Miramichi NB Photographer has to show us for her landscape. I am sure it will be great!

Welcome to the 6th month of a project I am participating in with 10 other photographers. On the 10th of each month all of us will blog 10 pictures taken over the course of a day . The project started a few years back from a mom/photographer who’s goal was to ‘find life and beauty among the ordinary things in her day.’
The project is called 10 on 10, sharing 10 images from one day, morning till night, on the 10th of each month. Just for fun. This month I decided to document my second annual January cruise with friends trip.
Please continue the circle and check out what Carrie Hill did for her January 10 on 10.

Welcome to the brand new 52 Fridays for 2012. For those of you that don’t know how it works, let me tell you about the project! It’s a 52 week project where we have 52 different themes and each week we focus on one of those different themes to stretch our creativity and keep us actively engaging our love for photography! Every week under my post will be a link to another photographer, and she/he will link to another photographer, and it’ll keep going until it brings you full circle back here! It’s an incredible idea, and I am thrilled to be a part of this group of amazing ladies! I completed a 52 project last year and was thrilled with the entire journey. This week our theme was “New”. One of my resolutions this year is to take more photos of my own children. I hope to document more of their every day lives. My youngest has New shoes and his New Years resolution is to learn to tie them. We began working on that this week.
Please continue on the circle and see what Geneviève Flynn, Sussex, New Brunswick Photographer has to show us for New.
