Welcome to week 8 of 52 Fridays.  This week there are 21 of us participating in the circle.  Our theme for the week is Time.  Yesterday Cole’s 2nd grade class traveled back in time to celebrate George Washington’s birthday.  What a great celebration we had.  Here is my George~

Week 7  of 52 Fridays brings us to Pink.  I don’t have a lot of pink in my life.  In fact, I played around with some pink flowers, pink donuts and a pink screw driver.  None of those produced any photos that I was proud of.  I am battling a sinus infection and lost energy by today.  I pulled this out from december.  I somehow missed this one on my first round of edits, but loved it today and think it’s perfect for Pink!  Please continue through the circle and check out what Faye Kingston, Miramichi, NB Photographer has to show us for Pink!

Welcome to week 5 of 52 Fridays.  Our group is off to a great start already.  This week there are 19 other participants in the project 52 Fridays.  Our theme is “On the Shelf”.  The most important item on my shelf this week is a favorite book of mine,  ”Simplify Your Life”.  I love this book.  Often I will pull it out when I feel like life is getting too crazy.  Please continue around the circle and head to Canada to see what Faye Kingston, Miramichi NB Photographer has on her shelf!

Last Wednesday, January  25th, I barely made it to the hospital to photograph Patrick James and his arrival.  Jessica’s water broke at 6 am and they headed to the hospital.  I got there 5 minutes before she was prepped and out the door for a c-section.  I should probably describe this as “after birth photography”, but we did manage to get in a few pictures before she left for the surgery.  This was my first attempt at birth photography and I loved everything about the whole day.  Jessica and Adam were so sweet to let this complete stranger come in and  document all of the details.

Welcome Patrick James ~ 9:34 am ~ 7 pounds 1 ounces ~ 18.5 inches

Proud Daddy watching and making the phone calls!

Patrick’s first bath…

Mom was brought back to her room.

Patrick heads down for some skin time with Mom!

Caroline comes in to meet her new baby brother.

The first family photo with the new addition :)

Thank you again Jessica and Adam for allowing me to share your special day with you!
